25 - Dec - 2025

So, it's that time of year again, huh?
I think this time I'll take advantage of the season's atmosphere and do something even I didn't expect – a Christmas release. Well, maybe it's easier to do something unexpected when the gifts have been ready for years, hehe. I converted all the stages from the game "Ranma 1⁄2: Hard Battle" to SNES back in the year of our lord 2021 (so years before the announcement of the remake). It took some work because the SNES resolution is lower than 240p, so I had to fill in an empty area by drawing from scratch while respecting the game's style and palette (there's one exception, but it turned out well >_>). In addition to that, I also decided that it would be even more interesting if the characters "could jump," or rather, if there was vertical camera movement, meaning more work, which was a bit challenging at the time, but the end result was rewarding, and that's what matters. You can check out all the stages on the page linked below:

And last but not least, I'll also share a stage based on the incredible work of the well-known pixel artist — Waneella. My work with this stage involved separating it into layers to give it depth; you can see the link to the final result on the page below:

And to conclude this post, I will leave you with the wise words of a Mecha-Santa:
